Crossfit

We are an Official Crossfit Affiliate

Crossfit is a core strength and conditioning program designed to make you better at living.

Why are we affiliated with one of the world’s biggest names in fitness?

Because Crossfit is more than just a type of exercise or a way to get strong and fit. We are part of a global community.

At Movement Crew, we are proud to be a “family” - we train together, we sweat together, and we laugh together.

We would love for you to come in and join us for a FREE trial class.

You will be able to join in on a class and get the real feel for our crew. The class you join will be adjusted to your specific level. So let us know where you are and we'll get you up to speed.

Our training incorporates constantly varied functional movements executed at a relatively high intensity. It's not only fun but an affordable program for people of all experience levels that will provide results that you will not get through any other fitness program.

If you have googled Crossfit, you have probably come across images of large muscular men and women, who squat 100’s of kilograms, run like the wind and can do strange things upside down.

An important thing to remember is that these are professional athletes. This is their career. Of course they are bulky and insanely fit. You won’t get those type of gains from doing 3 Crossfit classes a week. You will however get fitter, stronger, tougher and more confident.

World-Class Fitness in 100 Words:

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.

Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds.

Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy.

Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports. ~Coach Greg Glassman, CrossFit Founder and CEO (Courtesy of CrossFit Inc.)

The Crossfit workouts are based on every day functional movements, and bring out the best aspects in areas of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more.
